Tabby was going through Desiree's old toys (for a yard sale) and gave Micah this little cheerleading doll that does cute little cheers when you push on her hands, feet, and tummy. She has had it about a week and absolutely LOVES it. On the other hand, I heard Tony asking Tabby how much money would it cost for her to take it back ;). The other day in the car she was so cute singing along with it and doing her arm motions and bouncing her head. She has talent! She gets it natural ... I knew she would love cheerleading! Anyway, the cheers are so cute, I wanted to share them with you:
- "Munchkins say how do you do? We are hear to cheer for you. Yee-haw XX Woo-hoo!"
- "I stomp my feet. I boogie to the beat. I turn around. I touch the ground. I wiggle it, just a little bit."
- "Cookies, cookies, cookies & cream. What's the matter with the other team? Nothing, nothing, nothing at all. They just XX can't play ball!"
- "Riding on a donkey. Sitting on a cactus. We think your team needs a little practice. Jump in the tub, pull out the plug. There goes your team, chug, chug, chug."
- "We're #1, we can't be #2 'cause we're going beat the whoopsie's out of you, the whoopsie's out of you."

I think you should post a pic. of you when you were a cheerleader just so everyone can see where she gets it from. : )
Maggie has the same doll.... it went to live with the other Cheerleaders.. about 2 months later, I was cleaning out a closet and Maggie screamed, she's home, she's home, I forgot I put the doll there! ;-(
Looks like we've got another little cheerleader on the way! Sarah can't wait to do some cheers with her when we get together.

Hey I just wanted to thank you for transcribing the text of these cheers. My 4 year-old-daughter has a similar doll but it only does one of the ones you listed, but my wife and I could never figure out what she was saying in the lst half of the cheer. It is so infectuous, however, that we walk around singing the first part and then just making up gibberish for the last half. In frustration this morning I typed "Riding on a donkey sitting on a cactus" into a Google search box and lo and behold the first hit was this post. You have saved me mental anguish and for that I salute you!!!
Life is like a battle, if you don't know how to defend yourself then you'll end up being a loser. So, better take any challenges as your stepping stone to become a better person. Have fun, explore and make a lot of memories.

My daughter just got the same one. And we knew it said riding on a 'something ' and sitting on a 'something' but could not agree to what those were! And when that cheer gets stuck in your head, it's even more annoying when you don't know the words!!

Oh my goodness, we used to have this doll but could only remember the cookies and cream cheer. So I looked up cookies and cream doll and clicked your post. I was ecstatic to see you had listed the cheers!!!! Thank you so much for bringing back very found memories

Many thanks to you for writing down the lyrics of the cheers.My kids loved to imitate the cheers of their doll but kept asking me the real stuff the doll is saying.I was frustrated as I couldn't understand the complete lines,only bits and pieces.Now we all sing together and love to do so!
